Antipilling – fleece abrasion
For cost reasons, knitwear is sometimes made with the addition of short-fiber animal fibers, which swirl into small pills when worn; the napped cotton pile on the inside of sweatshirts often has a similar effect.

Etching of the loose fibers as well as chemical improvement of the fiber interlock or even mechanical processes.
With our special anti-pilling handle finish, woven, knitted and woolen fabrics are fixed in such a way that the pilling effect is reduced.
A special case of pilling is fluff abrasion on polyester fleece.
With this roughened fabric, it is important to fix the residual fibers with appropriate binding agents and provide an antistatic finish so that the lint pills do not adhere to the textiles worn underneath.
