Antistatic

Static charge on textiles

Antistatic plays an unpleasant role with synthetic fibers in the form of “flashing”, dust and lint adhesion and fabric layers sticking together.
Static charge is manifested in sanded or leased PES fabrics by an unpleasant build-up of charged residual fibers. This fluff lies on the fabric like dust. We can also offer a permanent finish against this. As a result, improvements of up to 2 orders of magnitude in surface and contact resistance are possible. The effects are usually quite astonishing compared to the original state and are permanently resistant to washing and cleaning. There are various ways to improve antistatic properties: Depending on the type of fiber, handle or desired water repellency, hydrophilic finishes or conductive salts are permanently fixed on.
